A Humble Start

The history of Falcon Construction is one of perseverance and humble beginnings. Wieslaw “Kaz” Malachowski arrived in the United States in 1987, fleeing oppressive conditions in then-communist Poland and turning aside his studies at the Warsaw Academy of Performing Arts. Upon his arrival in a foreign land, Kaz’s friends insisted on celebrating even though they had to be up at dawn to paint the exterior of a home. Despite the jet lag, culture shock, and lack of sleep, Kaz was the only one painting the exterior at 7AM the next day.

Foundation in Exellence

This story encapsulates the work ethic and dedication to detail that became our motto: “Perfectionists in Workmanship.” Kaz’s dedication to perfection led to Falcon Construction being incorporated in Maryland in 1989. Since then, we have grown from humble beginnings to a general contractor renowned in the Washington, D.C. area.
